Credit unions earn their positive reputation every day by the way they help members afford life, and GCUA’s public influence team strives to share that credit union story with those who influence public opinion.
Our multi-disciplinary approach to media relations is designed to establish and strengthen relationships with media outlets, equip credit union professionals to be trusted sources for journalists and facilitate consistent coverage to maintain a positive image in the media. We establish and maintain contact with members of the media to keep them informed of credit unions’ positions, activities and community involvement. We also connect credit unions with members of the media and provide them with the materials to engage in a successful exchange of information.
The impact of public opinion is substantial, and GCUA seeks to elevate the profile and enhance the reputation of Georgia credit unions through its public influence activities.
